BEGINNER LEAD CAME PANEL CLASS

14 HOURS - WEEKDAY: 6:30 - 10

12 HOURS - WEEKEND : SAT & SUN 9-4

 Introduce yourself to the colours and textures of stained glass by building a stained glass panel the traditional way.  In this course you will learn how to score and break, grind, lead, solder, and cement your panel.  Choose from one of the designs provided and build your own 10"x15" panel to hang in the window.

STUDENTS MUST COME INTO THE STUDIO BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS TO CHOOSE PATTERNS, GLASS, AND SUPPLIES.

There is a tool rental / supply fee of $55 which covers tool rental and all chemicals. lead, zinc, solder, and patterns.  Glass and other supplies are approximately $65.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• Ultra fine point "Sharpie" marker
• *Silver "Sharpie Metallic" for drawing on dark glass
• *Full size pattern – 2 copies – you must choose at Bissett Stained Glass
• *Stained glass  - to complete your project
• Safety glasses
• Metal cork backed ruler
• *Glass cutter - no multi wheeled cutters
• Rubber gloves (optional - needed for last class)
• * Lead Board – plywood base (min of 12”x16” ) with a raised square right angle
• Box- large enough to transport your glass/projects

Please wear comfortable cotton clothing to class. No open toed shoes please. Bissett Stained Glass is a pet friendly environment – people with allergies to cats and dogs should take precautions.

The studio is located at 3104 Parsons Road (99  Street). We are open 9-5 Mon – Fri and 9-3 on Saturdays for you to pick up your supplies before the first class. Call 435-7533 with any questions. We look forward to meeting you and helping you to get started on a rewarding new hobby.
