BEGINNER COPPER FOIL CLASS (15 HRS)

(*REGISTRATION/ SHOP FEE/ SUPPLIES ARE APPROX $250)
This fun and challenging program introduces you to textures and colours of stained glass, glass tools and patterns. In addition to learning skills like glass scoring and breaking, grinding and shaping, copper foiling, and soldering and finishing; you will complete at least two 8”x8” projects.

BEGINNER LEAD CAME PANEL (WEEKDAY-14HRS, WKND 12HRS)

Try building stained glass the traditional way. In this course you will learn how to score and break, grind, lead, solder and cement your panel. Choose from the designs provided and build your own 10” x 15” panel to hang in the window.

BEADMAKING (5 HRS – 9-3)

(*REGISTRATION/ SHOP FEE/ SUPPLIES ARE APPROX $150)
Learn to make beads using a oxygen/natural gas torch. During this course, safety and basic techniques are emphasized. Students will learn basic shaping and decorating techniques, such as applying dots and spots, frits, spirals and raked designs. Learn how to pull stringers and make twisties to expand decorating possibilities. At the end, you will leave with several beads and the urge to keep Beading!

MOSAIC TABLE TOP (9HRS)

(*REGISTRATION/ SHOP FEE/ SUPPLIES ARE APPROX $150)
Discover the endless possibilities that mosaics offer by creating a glass mosaic table top or wall hanging. Learn how to cut and grind for shape, how to adhere the glass to your board, and how to grout and finish your piece. Choose from one of our pattern ideas or create your own. Your finished piece will be approximately 16” x 16”.

NEW COURSE!

OPEN FUSING – (12 HRS) 6:30-9:30
Join us in exploring the world of hot glass. Not enough time in class? Just want to play? Feed off the creativeness of the class atmosphere to experiment further, push yourself farther, and basically fuse, fuse, fuse! This course allows you working time with all the fusing you can handle. Set your own projects and create, from the planning stages to the finished masterpiece.

INTERMEDIATE (14 HRS) 6:30-10
Come join us while we adventure into the world of large panel construction or 3-d construction. Building on your knowledge of lead came or copper foil, create a panel that is up to 24”x24” in size. If flat doesn’t cut it, take your copper foil knowledge one step further by building a vase, a paneled lamp shade, a lantern, or a decorative box. If you have completed the beginner copper foil class or the beginner lead came panel class and are confident with your skills, you are ready for this next challenge.

GARDEN STONE CLASS (6 HRS) 6:30-9:30


Create a colourful 12” patio stone for your garden, flower bed, or deck. Learn to cut and grind glass, pour concrete, and finish your stones.
Choose from various shapes and patterns. Beginners welcome.

FUSED GLASS PENDANTS (2.5 HRS)

From squares to triangles or rectangles to diamonds, fused glass pendants are popular. Discover the world of hot glass and the fun of fusing by learning how to create your own glass pendants. Come and see what hot glass is all about.

FUSED GLASS EASTER EGGS: 1 CLASS, (3 hrs)
CHILDREN AGED 6 AND UP WELCOME, WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
Zig-zags, stripes, spots, dots, and diamonds, or any combination you can think of. You won’t have to search too hard to find these eggs Easter morning, just look for the shine. This Easter egg collection can add a little sparkle to any room of the house and will last all year round.
Using frit and stringers decorate these Easter egg sun-catchers, there is no cutting involved. Just bring your imagination and enthusiasm and we supply the rest. Your finished pieces will be approximately 2” x 3”

INTRO TO FUSING – (12 HRS) 6:30-9:30

Join us in exploring the world of hot glass. This course will introduce you to glass fusing and slumping. Learn about safety, different kilns and firing techniques, fusing molds and of course… glass, all while creating your own fused pieces. You set your own projects and take them from the planning stage to a finished piece.

GAMES STONE – 1 CLASS, (3hrs)
Create an all-weather gameboard for your deck or yard by combining glass mosiacs and patio-stones. Enjoy a game of chess or checkers while soaking up summer. There is no cutting involved and all materials are supplied. Learn how to create glass patio stones and the basics of sandblasting while you create your own game pieces. Come dressed to get dirty and have fun and go home with a 16” x 16” gameboard.
