Why Archival Framing?

Conservation framing materials stop pollutants from damaging your certificates, artwork, and photographs. 

Pollutants are everywhere including the artwork itself.  All papers including conservation cotton or wood papers generate acetic acids as they age.  These acids then "revisit" your artwork and accelerate deterioration. 

The number one enemy of your artwork or irreplaceable memorabilia is time.  Just think of how long it takes for newsprint to discolour.

Archival quality framing materials stop pollutants from damaging your artwork.  Archival mat boards are built with molecular traps that are moisture repelling and which neutralize acids and gases, creating a safe place for your artwork and memorabilia.
